My journey starts in the southern United States. Having been born in South Carolina during the summer, the term summer child fits me like a glove. My love for the beach and the sun have stuck with me, as I always enjoy warm weather and being near an open body of water. The south, the water, the summer breeze, have and always will be a part of me. This can largely be seen in my photography.

 

Traveling is also in my nature. Growing up, my family moved often. This has led me to also enjoy traveling as an adult. Alongside me will always be my longtime travel buddy, my camera. To me photography is more than just capturing a photo. It's discovering that there is always more to the moment. You can do so much with a photo. You can place multiple photos next to each other to create a movie. You can edit a photo to make it fit your artistic vision. You can print a photo and hang it on a wall to acknowledge a moment forever. There are numerous ways to express yourself through photography and that is why more than anything, I value photography as a hobby.
